Cats and Dogs

Why when it rains hard do people say it is raining cats and dogs? All I see is water! Anyway, I hate the rain...this morning we woke up to a downpour! It was just coming down in solid sheets of water! I cowered by the door hoping that Melanie wouldn't make me go out, but she shoved me out the door. I was really upset about that and refused to do my thing instead sitting by the door staring at her with sad eyes. But after 2 minutes I was completely soaked to the bone so I sucked it up and did it. Then she let me back in and dried me off with a fresh towel. As my reward she wrapped me up in a warm blanket and let me take a nap in her lap so I guess the rain isn't so bad after all.
