Rescue Success!!!
My SOS worked and the pug army mounted the rescue event of the century! They found Melanie and then personally escorted her to doggie daycare to pick me up. I was pretty excited to see her (and them). We celebrated with a treat sent to me by my grandma and a really really really long nap on the couch. I tried to get into the Olympics but to be honest I'm just too tired...maybe tomorrow night!

Next time you must send out your SOS call through the proper channels. You did not follow protocol, and thus, we did not receive your SOS in a timely enough manner to respond.
I am pleased to hear that the SOS was in fact unnecessary as Melanie has been found.
